Permanent Makeup

Also known as micro pigmentation, it is the process of placing coloured pigments into the dermal layer of the skin. Benefits from this treatment can range from saving time when applying make up, allergic reactions to cosmetics, athletes and swimmers, those needing correction of facial symmetry, or those with eyesight problems that find application of cosmetics difficult.

Applications of this treatment can be used for:

  • Subtle or dramatic eyeliner around the eyes
  • Micro pigmentation to re-create eyebrows where there are none, uneven brows balanced and gaps filled from over plucking. Definition or body can be given to sparse or too thin brows eliminating the need for an eyebrow pencil or dye
  • The lip line can be enhanced giving more definition and prominence to the mouth and also help lipstick from "bleeding" into the lines around the mouth
  • A full vibrant lip colour can be applied to the whole lip or just a subtle blush of colour. This is most suited to those who feel their mouth is fading with age or those not wishing to apply lipstick.

There is a limited amount of discomfort during treatment. This is usually described as a prickly stinging sensation.

The treatment can last between 3 to 5 years depending on skin type, age and colour choice. Eventually the colour will begin to lose its vibrancy and fade away. Touch ups are recommended every 2 to 3 years.
