Why India?

India is aiming at becoming one of the top Medical Destination in the world within the next decade. Not just because India has state-of- the-art hospitals and highly reputable medical professionals, but because healthcare facilities in India are amongst the most cost effective in the world. Indian doctors are considered to be the best in the world and after studying in India many surgeons train and practise in the UK. India is becoming a global healthcare destination with medical tourism increasing to 40% per year.

All private hospitals have the highest standard for hygiene and all patients are screened before operations to prevent the transmission of disease and MRSA. A Government standard called the ISO9001 is becoming increasingly popular in private hospitals to mark the level of high standard these surgeons wish to perfect.

Healthcare facilities are among the most cost effective in the world with private hospitals and clinics offering dramatic savings when compared to the same treatments in the UK.

Lets Face It – Together offer package deals to include accommodation, transfers, treatment and relaxation tours for your recuperation period. Our medical hot spots are Goa, New Delhi and Mumbia.

Doctors Accreditation

All surgeons are carefully researched and hospitals and clinics visited before we refer any of our clients to their services.

As India is one of the fastest growing Medical Tourism countries there is a growing need for all private hospitals to be accredited to a number of regulations and societies. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare ensure that all clinics and hospitals achieve a high standard of care and also audit the ISO9001 standard. All doctors must be registered to the Medical Council of India which is the equivalent to our General Medical Council.

All doctors and surgeons achieve a degree level qualification, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, which involves 5 years of studying and 1 year of internship. A post graduate level studies then follows which specialises in either Medicine or Surgery for 3 years. All cosmetic surgeons are registered with the Association of Surgeons of India.
